We serve residential and commercial customers throughout Auburn, Opelika, Lake Martin, and the surrounding area. Principal
Claire Goldman is our fearless leader at R&R Landscaping, where her leadership is rooted in purpose, trust, and a long-term vision for people and place. A horticulture graduate from Auburn University, Claire blends deep plant knowledge with big-picture thinking to guide a company known for thoughtful design and values-driven culture. She believes great landscapes are the by-product of healthy teams—so she invests her energy in building both. Claire also serves on the board of the National Association of Landscape Professionals, helping shape the future of the industry.
Around the office, she’s known for her clarity, calm, and ability to keep things on track—especially when her husband Charlie (R&R’s Director of Ops) is enthusiastically derailing them.
Director of Operations
Charlie Goldman leads field operations at R&R Landscaping with equal parts grit, heart, and humor. A horticulture graduate from Auburn (War Eagle!), Charlie started on a crew and worked his way up—earning every bit of respect he now has. He’s known for creating job sites where people feel seen, supported, and motivated to do their best work (and maybe laugh a little too much along the way). Whether he’s mentoring new crew leaders or troubleshooting logistics before sunrise, Charlie brings relentless energy and a genuine love for the people behind the projects.
He also happens to be married to the boss, which—depending on the day—either keeps him on his toes or gives her a reason to roll her eyes.
Landscape Architect
Kevin Carpenter, PLA is a landscape architect at R&R Landscaping with over two decades of experience translating complex site challenges into elegant, buildable solutions. A graduate of Auburn University, Kevin’s approach is calm, methodical, and deeply informed—anchored in both technical expertise and a passion for thoughtful, lasting design. His attention to detail and clarity of vision make him an invaluable resource across disciplines, from residential landscapes to large-scale civic projects.
Kevin brings a quiet confidence to the team, earning trust not by volume, but by delivering work that’s precise, practical, and consistently exceptional.
Connections Manager
Jake Rodgers leads R&R’s Connections Team with a rare blend of creativity, intuition, and vision. A gifted musician turned landscape designer, Jake made the decision to trade life on the road for life with his family—and brought with him a deep understanding of what it means to lead, serve, and build something from the ground up. As a former business owner, he knows how to navigate complexity, juggle competing priorities, and create systems that actually work. His future-focused mindset, relentless curiosity, and natural ability to read people make him a powerful force in both design and leadership.
Jake brings clarity to complex processes, energy to every meeting, and a contagious belief that great things are always ahead. As a servant leader, he inspires through humility, not hierarchy—and his impact is felt in every corner of the team.
Landscape Designer
Ann Chambliss is a landscape designer at R&R Landscaping, where her energy is unmatched and her love for plants is contagious. With a horticulture degree from Auburn and a background that includes urban beautification, agricultural outreach, and freelance design work, Ann brings deep plant knowledge and a big heart to the table. She’s known for her ability to connect with clients, keep things fun, and bring creative ideas to life with enthusiasm and grit.
Whether she’s dreaming up colorful plant palettes or cheering on her teammates, Ann shows up fully—ready to grow something great and make sure everyone around her enjoys the process.
Production Manager
Bo Arnold is a Production Manager at R&R Landscaping who’s been part of the team since age 14, back when he spent summers working in the field. With a business degree from Troy University and a lifetime of boots-on-the-ground experience, Bo brings energy, urgency, and a deep sense of responsibility to every job. He’s known for moving fast, thinking on his feet, and going all-in to make sure crews feel supported and clients feel confident. Bo leads with heart—he genuinely cares about people, and it shows in the way he builds relationships on and off the job site.
When he’s not managing projects, he’s probably in the woods turkey hunting or making memories with his wife and daughter.
Production Manager
Ladarius McPherson is a Production Manager at R&R Landscaping whose rise through the ranks is a masterclass in focus, growth, and earned leadership. He started on a crew with little experience but a sharp eye for how things were done—and he paid attention. With a natural drive to learn and an appreciation for doing things right, Ladarius quickly became a crew leader, then stepped into his current role where he leads multiple crews and keeps communication clear and steady with clients throughout the life of each project. He brings a rare mix of positivity, discipline, and strategic thinking to every job.
Steady, thoughtful, and respected by the teams he leads, Ladarius is proof that when you’re always growing, you end up leading.
General Manager
As General Manager at R&R Landscaping, Melaine brings order to the chaos and strategy to the everyday. She pairs long-range vision with sharp attention to detail. Utilizing her extensive experience in the hospitality industry, she elevates the client experience by blending warmth, precision, and thoughtful service. With a problem-solver’s mindset and a drive for continuous improvement, Melaine leads with focus and insight. She drives the team forward with purpose and clarity—and adds a touch of dry humor that keeps the team smiling.
When she’s not solving problems at R&R, Melaine is spending time with her family—or figuring out how to fit one more vintage treasure into the back of her SUV.
