This project is all about balance. The homeowners wanted a space that felt polished and refined but still warm and inviting. We answered with a layout grounded in symmetry – a classic design principle that brings calm and cohesion – and layered in modern touches to keep things fresh.

Fire Table + Covered Dining Area
Anchoring the space is a custom fire table, surrounded by comfortable seating that encourages lingering long after the sun sets. Paired with a covered dining area, this setup is ideal for hosting everything from intimate dinners to big family gatherings – rain or shine, summer or fall.
Engraved Stone Details
Throughout the landscape, natural stone pavers are engraved with hand-selected quotes that carry deep meaning for the family. These small but powerful details add a layer of personality and emotion to the space, turning a beautiful backyard into something truly one-of-a-kind.
A View Framed in Foliage
One of our favorite design moments? The strategic placement of a Japanese maple, perfectly visible through the window of the family’s library in the adjacent home. It’s a small gesture with big impact – bringing color, texture, and connection across the two properties.
